MintNotes is a Chrome extension that allows users to create and manage sticky notes directly on any website. We take your privacy seriously. This extension does not collect, transmit, or share personal data.

2. Data Storage

All notes created with MintNotes are stored locally in your browser using the Chrome storage API. Your notes remain on your device and are never sent to external servers.

3. Permissions

MintNotes requires minimal permissions solely to function:

• storage – to save notes locally in your browser.
• activeTab – to allow note creation on the current website.
• scripting – to display sticky notes on top of the visited website.
• tabs / webNavigation – to reload notes when navigating between pages.

These permissions are only used to provide the sticky notes functionality. No data is collected for analytics, advertising, or tracking.

4. Third Parties

MintNotes does not share information with third parties. No external services or remote servers are involved in the processing of your notes.

5. Data Security

Since all data remains on your device, you are in full control of your notes. We recommend using your browser’s sync feature (if enabled) to back up your notes across devices.
